Once i almost fell for a job scam, I got as far as almost giving my bank details to the employer. These were bank details I believed any employer wouldn't need to know and I used my common sense to stop right there. It was my careers advisor and auntie who figured this was a scam and I went along with them. Now I know how these job scams work but there will be new methods and versions of scams the scammers will come up with.
I just wonder if you actually fall for this scam and the bank says your check is clear, you get the money, few days later the bank finds out its a fake, and you have to pay all the money back that was taken out, it just so happens that you didnt spend any of that money that was taken out and you just give it back to the bank, I guess that would make everything ok.
